Cleaning the microwave is one of those household chores that can seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. With the right supplies and a few simple steps, you can make your microwave look like new again. Here’s how to clean a microwave in just a few easy steps.

1. Start by removing any food or debris from the interior of the microwave. Use a damp cloth to wipe away any food particles or spills. For stuck-on food, try soaking a sponge in a mixture of warm water and dishwashing liquid and then use a scrubbing pad to remove it.

2. Next, fill a microwave-safe bowl or cup with 1/2 cup of water and add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Place the bowl or cup inside the microwave and turn it on for 5 minutes. This will help to loosen any stuck-on food and make it easier to wipe away.

3. Once the timer has gone off, leave the bowl or cup inside the microwave and let it cool down for a few minutes. This will help to further loosen any stuck-on food and make it easier to remove.

4. Once the bowl or cup is cool enough to handle, use a damp cloth to wipe away any food particles or spills. For tougher spots, use a scrubbing pad or an old toothbrush to help scrub them away.

5. Finally, use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the microwave and then wipe it dry with a clean, dry cloth.

And that’s it! With just a few simple steps, you can have your microwave looking like new again. With regular cleaning, you can keep your microwave looking shiny and clean.
